Hello friends,

Many people ask me in the last few weeks if I can share some nutrition tips from Rusty Moore’ Visual Impact Muscle Building program and to write more about proper nutrition to build muscle.
Well, the post and videos today are about nutrition and here you will find why proper nutrition is so important to build your body naturally.

You do not have to have a background in science to understand how to make nutritious and healthy food choices. A number of useful tips are offered below to assist you in making educated choices about your diet. There are some simple things that can be done to feed your body the nutrition that it needs.

Change your nutrition habits slowly and gradually. If you follow a bad diet, drastically changing it will probably only last temporarily before you give in to your old ways. In order to make your diet changes long term and effective, your should start slowly. Try drinking iced tea in the place of soda, and some fresh or dried fruit instead of potato chips. If you get used to this you can add other changes. It won’t take long for those baby steps to add up to a complete lifestyle change.

Keep track of what you eat, how much you exercise and how much you weigh. If you have blood pressure issues, keep track of that in a log to see any improvements. If you were overweight at the beginning of the process, keep accurate records of the amount of weight or inches you have dropped.

You need to make time and remain motivated for diets and fitness plans to work. You need both of these to succeed in executing any weight loss plan. Finding time to exercise is easy if you have the motivation and desire to do it. The more interest and enjoyment you find in something, the easier it is for you to set aside time for doing it. Try to set a time to exercise each day. Choose a convenient part of the day, and select workouts you actually like doing.

Adding smaller amounts of salt and sugar to your home style cooking will help reduce your overall intake of these things. As you slowly lower the amounts you eat, your taste buds will become accustomed to less sodium and sugar. Reducing the salt and sugar bit by bit makes the changes much less evident, meaning you will not feel the urge to resist them.

You set yourself up for failure right from the start if you don’t eat breakfast. People mistakenly think that bypassing breakfast will help their diet by cutting out some calories. The problem is, since you skipped breakfast, you’ll be starving and much more vulnerable to any diet-wrecking food that crosses your path. Ultimately, you will have consumed far more calories than you would have if you had not skipped breakfast.

Do not hype up dessert as the bast part of the meal for your children. Just eat dessert two or three nights a week as a special treat.

Choosing an all-natural piece of fruit is much healthier than pouring a glass of preservative-filled juice. When you drink juice, your are consuming sweeteners that were added to it. However, if you eat fresh fruit, you only consume the natural sugars that are in them. Shockingly, fruit juice may even exceed soda pop in sugar content. Also, fresh fruits are high in nutrients such as vitamins and fiber that can reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.

Get a friend’s help with your personal health goals. Having a good friend to help motivate and support you will increase the likelihood that you will succeed at reaching your health goals.

Your plates should always look colorful and diverse. Fruits and vegetables with bright colors are good for you, and usually low in calories. Try and include a brightly colored food or two in every meal that you prepare. Many antioxidants are in skins, so eat them if they’re edible.

Soda is a high calorie, no nutrient drink that should be avoided. Sodas add large amounts of sugar and empty calories to any diet. The citric acid found in many sodas can cause tooth decay. Bacteria in your mouth will thrive on the sugars in soda pop. They can produce a chemical change that adds to the damage of citric acid.

Eating right is probably the most important factor when we talk on proper nutrition to build muscle. A great way to care for yourself is by decreasing your refined sugar intake. It’s important to be careful with drinks like soda and fruit juices. You should eliminate them if at all possible because they are filled with sugar. Restrict your sugar intake, and notice the positive effects it has on you. Not only will you feel more healthy, it will also make you look more attractive.

Be sure to drink enough water if your goal is to remain healthy. Your body is made up of water. That means that you need to stay hydrated. The general rule is to drink around eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily.

Instead of eating your regular meat choices, a couple times a week eat fish instead. Fish contains omega-3 fatty acids that help maintain healthy brain function, and blood circulation. The only caveat is to avoid fish species that are known to contain too much mercury, like tuna.

When you begin using the above tips in your daily life, you’ll find it easier to make nutritious choices without having to think much about it. Once you get the basics, it gets easier to incorporate good nutrition into your daily life. With that being said, always Remember that nutrition is just one part of the puzzle and you must follow an exercise program as well in order to build your body naturally.

All the best!
